Mid-major commitments
The beginning of this week saw a flurry of high major commitments. During the middle of the week there has been commitment action in the low to mid-major ranks.
6-foot point guard Andre Winston of Lakewood (Wash.) Lakes High School committed to James Madison after a strong summer with Seattle Rotary Select.

6-foot-6 forward Will Triggs of Edwardsville (Ill.) High School chose Austin Peay over offers from Southern Illinois-Edwardsville, UT-Martin, Eastern Illinois and Southeast Missouri.
6-foot-2 point guard Kenny Stevenson of South Holland (Ill.) Seton Academy is headed to Illinois-Chicago.
And 6-foot-4 small forward Shelton Boykin of Long Beach (Calif.) Poly will stay home and attend Long Beach State.
