With commitment Mitch McGary to Michigan on Thursday night, the Wolverines grabbed the headlines away from Arizona and North Carolina State after the updated team recruiting rankings saw them move up to No. 1 and No. 3 respectively.

The No. 3-ranked prospect and No. 1-ranked power forward in the Rivals150, McGary could have the same impact for Michigan as a freshman as did Kevin Love, Tyler Hansbrough and Jared Sullinger did for their respective schools.
McGary's addition to Michigan's recruiting class pushes the Wolverines all the way to No. 4 in the rankings.
Michigan isn't the only team in the Big Ten in the national team recruiting rankings. A total of four Big Ten schools are in the top 25, placing the conference in a three-way tie with the ACC and Big 12 as the second-most represented conference.
The top conference is the Big East, which has seven teams in the rankings and Providence as the highest ranked of the bunch.
The Pac-12 and SEC both have two teams each in the rankings, and the Atlantic-10 and Conference-USA are represented by one team each.
