Michigan big man makes his choice

Give Amir Williams lots of credit, he kept his recruitment more of a mystery than almost anybody else in the class of 2011. On Wednesday, though, he finally made his decision.
During a press conference at his school, Williams chose Ohio State.

A 6-foot-9, 220 pound center from Beverly Hills (Mich.) Detroit Country Day, Williams is a guy whose best playing days appear to be ahead of him.
His frame should allow him to carry several more pounds of muscle. He runs the court fluidly, blocks shots, rebounds his area and is perhaps a tad underrated on the offensive side of the ball.
A four-star prospect who is currently ranked #73 in his class, Williams joins a class that already includes four-stars Sam Thompson, LaQuinton Ross, Shannon Scott and three-star Trey McDonald.
