In addition to the above colleges, Doe said he has also had some contact with Hofstra, Miami and Georgia Tech.
Doe said his recruitment has been slowed by the fact that he did not attend any events during the critical July evaluation period. As a result, many colleges did not get a chance to see him in action.
Doe might attend a tournament in New Orleans the weekend of Sept. 15, although it is unclear at this time whether or not college coaches are able to attend (depends on certification).
IR had a chance to watch Doe at the NBA Players Association Camp in Washington D.C., where he impressed us with his mobility and defensive presence. He also showed some offensive skills via a jump hook.
Doe averaged 10 points, six rebounds and nine blocks per game. He said he has a 2.9 GPA and scored at least an 820 on the SAT.
Doe said he has no timetable for a decision, but added that he would prefer to sign during the NCAA's early period in November.
