The suspense is over. Durand Scott announced where he will be going to college on Wednesday afternoon.
The 6-foot-4 guard from New York (N.Y.) Rice is taking his game to the University of Miami.

Scott, the No. 41 ranked player in the class of 2009, said he felt at home with Frank Haith and the rest of the Miami basketball program.
"I made my decision because of comfortability, just the type of person I am and where I believe I best fit," Scott said on SNY television. "When I took my visit to Miami, I knew it was the place I wanted to be. But I didn't want to tell everybody. I wanted to weigh my options."
Scott also considered Connecticut and Pittsburgh. Scott joins Rivals150 prospects Garrius Adams and Donnovan Kirk as well as point guard Lisandro Ruiz-Moreno in the 2009 recruiting class for Miami.
The Hurricanes coveted a shooting guard in 2009 and were able to lock up one of the top 10 players nationally at the position in Scott.
