Miami picks up skilled Brazlian

It was an east coast/west coast decision for Ft. Smith (Ark.) Junior College forward Fabio Nass. The Santa Catarina, Brazil, native will play in the Sunshine State next season.
Choosing Miami over USC, Nass will bring a gifted skill package and good feel for the game to the Hurricanes.

"Fabio's body does need some improving, but the frame is there to put on the weight," said Ft. Smith coach Jeremy Cox. "What makes him so tough is his skill level at 6-foot-10, 215-pounds. He can play on the perimeter, but doesn't just hang out on the three-point line. He's very crafty around the basket."
Nass joins James Dews and Dwayne Collins as 2006 Miami commitments.
