Mensah Recovering from Concussion

Kojo Mensah, the bouncy 6-1, 170 pound combo guard who is now at Notre Dame Prep in Fitchburg, Mass., could be cleared to play soon for the Crusaders.
During Notre Dame's season opener against Roxbury C.C. on Nov. 4, Mensah suffered a concussion and required hospitalization. He went back home to Brooklyn, N.Y., late last week, but Crusader Head Coach Bill Barton hoped to have Mensah back in action by as early as this weekend.

Notre Dame is slated to play Harvard's J.V. squad and the New Hampton School on Friday and Saturday, respectively. If for some reason Mensah still isn't ready to go this weekend, he should be a go for the War on the Shore next weekend.
After an outstanding senior year at Bishop Loughlin in Brooklyn, N.Y., Mensah headed to Notre Dame to boost his test score and recruitment.
Thus far, Barton said that Providence, Marshall and St. Bonaventure have shown the most interest in Mensah.
We plan on seeing Notre Dame Prep many times this winter, so we'll keep you abreast on any new developments with the Crusader program. Stay tuned.
