In his first year at Mountain State Academy, Mensa, who is originally from Toronto, is already receiving strong interest from Ole Miss, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, St. Joe's and Marshall.
"Kofi is extremely athletic," said Mountain State Academy head coach Rob Fulford. "He is a streaky shooter, but a good shooter. He has a knack for the game as a pure scorer and has a huge upside. He is a high major prospect."
On the season, Mensa is averaging 23 points, six rebounds and four assists per game.
