During his first year at the helm of the Memphis basketball program, Josh Pastner landed a monster class. Far from satisfied, Pastner is proving that he's going to be quite aggressive with recruits moving forward.
Today, Pastner and his staff are entertaining the nation's fourth ranked prospect in the class of 2012, Shabazz Muhammad.
Reached via text message, Muhammad's father Ron Holmes confirmed that the 6-foot-5 shooting guard from Bishop Gorman is on campus for an unofficial visit.
Holmes also confirmed that Muhammad will visit North Carolina in October for the Tar Heels Late Night with Roy Williams festivities. No other visits have been set at this time but others in the mix include Kansas, UCLA, Louisville, Duke, Texas and more.
Rivals.com will be on hand in Chicago this weekend to watch Muhammad and several other top players compete in the Adidas Nations program.
