Memphis combo guard will head North

All summer long, Tubby Smith was a man on a mission. Pretty much everywhere combo guard Andre Hollins went, you would find the Minnesota head coach.
If Smith couldn't make it to one of Hollins' games, you could be sure an assistant was in place. That dedication was rewarded on Saturday when the 6-foot-2 senior at Memphis (Tenn.) White Station made the call for the Golden Gophers.

"Yessir, I just committed," Hollins told Rivals.com. "I just really feel that I I fit in well."
A three-star prospect who is currently ranked #126 overall in the class of 2011, Hollins joins another three-star member of the 2011 Rivals150, Minnesota wing Joe Coleman, to make up the Gophers early recruiting class.
"I think I can come in and make a big impact as a freshman," said Hollins. "Playing in one of the best conferences in the nation for one of the best coaches in the nation."
