MD Forward Makes Decision
Will Thomas, a 6-foot-8, 225-pound combo forward from Mount Saint Joe's in Baltimore, Maryland, made a verbal commitment today to George Mason. Thomas is a member of the 2004 class.
Thomas, who had unofficially visited George Mason, Xavier, and Richmond, also considered the College of Charleston, St. Bonventure, and Fordham. Thomas competed this past summer at the NIKE camp in Indianapolis, Indiana. Thomas also played at the Sonny Hill Tournament in Philadelphia last month.
He is considered a better defensive player right now. Thomas is also a very good athlete who can jump and grab rebounds. His nice frame will allow him to compete effectively with George Mason as a freshman.
