MD Forward Has Five At Top
CHAPEL HILL, NORTH CAROLINA -- Omari Isreal, a 6-7, 215-pound forward from Good Counsel High School in Maryland, told us he has a top five list. "I am interested in Maryland, Virginia, Tennessee, Miami and Wake Forest," Omari told us. "I am still open. I will see how my summer goes before I start taking visits."
Isreal told us he is trying to work on two important skills this summer. "I am working on my left hand dribble and using my left hand on drives to the basket," Omari said. "I am also working on my pullup jumper and my overall jumper."

Omari competed this past weekend at the Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions with the DC Assault. The Assault made it to the quarterfinal round before being eliminated.
Isreal averaged 17 points and nine rebounds last season as a junior. You can next catch Omari and his game at the ABCD camp.
