McLimans to visit Big Ten school

6-foot-10, 210-pound forward Blake McLimans of Worcester (Mass.) Academy plans to make a decision before the early signing period. This weekend he visits a Big Ten school while a school from the Big East is in hot pursuit.
McLimans will officially visit Michigan this weekend according to his travel team coach Don Marsh of the Northeast Basketball Club. McLimans has already visited Sienna, Hofstra and Providence, which is the school out in front at this point.

"Blake wants to see what Michigan is like," said Marsh. "He really likes Providence a lot, though. He is sort of comparing schools to Providence. He just needs to see what Michigan is all about with a new coach and everything. I know he'll be looking at the early playing time situation. He doesn't want to go some where and sit."
Also being recruited by Boston College (offer) and Connecticut, McLimans is a skilled big man with some athleticism in the mold of a European big man.
"He's an athletic four man," said Marsh. "He can shoot the three and can get up and down the court. He's good with his left and right hand and will throw it down on you if he gets to the rim."
