McKinney likes ACC and Big East

Jason McKinney, a 5-11, 170 pound point guard from Inglewood (CA) High School said tonight that he really likes the ACC and Big East Conferences.
The rising senior averaged 15 points and 10 assists for his 24-7 high school squad. McKinney also plays with the AAU Sports Express.
Some of the schools that are on his current list are St. John's, UConn, Cincinnati, Tennessee, UCLA, Arizona, Miami and Georgia Tech.
McKinney said the strongest aspect of his game is his mental approach. "I go into a game knowing I'm tougher than my opponent."
This summer he wants to work on all the tasks that will enhance his skills as a true point guard.
McKinney doesn't have a timetable for a college decision. "As soon as I feel comfortable and my family is satisfied without the choice," he said.
He has a core GPA of 3.2 and will take the apptitude test after his senior year begins. He said he'd like to major in sports medicine.
