McKinney has favorite

It's pretty clear where Jason McKinney hopes to be next fall - New York City on St. John's campus.
"That's where I want to go," he said. "But everything is still open." McKinney previously mentioned Connecticut, Cincinnati, Tennessee, UCLA, Arizona, Miami and Georgia Tech. The west coaster would like to play in the Big East or the Atlantic Coast Conferences.

The 5-11, 170 pound point guard from Inglewood (CA) High School averaged 15 points and 10 assists for his 24-7 high school squad last year as a junior.
McKinney's main goal this summer is to continue his rehabilitation. "I broke my shin bone last season. Right now, I'm about 85 percent," he said. McKinney said he is pleased with the way he's been able to come back, but knows he has more to do.
He said he's following a rather strict regime which starts at 5:30 AM and covers his athletic and academic goals.
This young man, who is bringing a 3.2 GPA into his senior year, will take the SAT for the first time after his school year begins. He's had no unofficial visits at any campus yet.
McKinney is now playing with Eric Harden's LA Paladins. He previously competed with Sports Express. McKinney will be at the Big Time Tournament next week.
