A breakdown by Conferences has the ACC leading with seven signees participating in the game, including three from North Carolina and three from Duke. Next is the Big 12 with six participants, three of which are headed to Kansas. Five players have signed with SEC schools, four with Big East schools and two Washington signees represent the Pac 10.
The East squad is heavy with big men, including Korvotney Barber, Eric Boateng, Andrew Bynum, Brandon Costner, Richard Hendrix, Josh McRoberts and Tasmin Mitchell. Greg Paulus is the only true point guard on the squad, but he will receive ball handling help from combo guards Louis Williams and Eric Devendorf. Rivals.com's No. 1 player, Gerald Green, and Danny Green will provide scoring from the wing for the East squad.
Not as stocked with big men, the West squad is heavy with wing players who can both score and handle the ball including Micah Downs, Monta Ellis, Bobby Frasor, Calvin Miles, Martell Webster and Julian Wright. The West also has two primary ball handlers in Mario Chalmers and Byron Eaton. Playing down low for the West will be Jon Brockman, Tyler hansbrough, Amir Johnson and Luke Zeller.
Stay tuned to Rivals.com as practice updates and notebooks from the event will be forthcoming beginning on Sunday.
