CHICAGO -- Led by 19 points apiece from 2016's No. 1 player Josh Jackson and Duke bound five-star guard Frank Jackson, the West scored a 114-107 win over the East in 2016's McDonald's All-American game. Here's a look at some the stars from Wednesday night's game in the United Center.

JACKSON DUO LEADS THE WAY

In the first half, it was the all-around game of 6-foot-7 shooting guard Josh Jackson that helped the West build a 52-47 lead. In the second half, it was the three-point shooting of Duke-bound combo guard Frank Jackson that allowed the West to keep the game in hand.

Josh Jackson showed the nationally televised audience why he's held onto the top spot in the Rivals150 for a while. He played lockdown defense on Duke-bound wing Jayson Tatum -- who did find some rhythm late to lead the East with 18 points on 5-for-15 shooting from the field (8-8 FT) -- he got out and finished in transition, he found teammates for lob dunks and he cleaned the glass. Despite only playing 17 minutes, he finished his evening with 19 points, four rebounds and three assists and undoubtedly left Arizona, Kansas and Michigan State fans salivating over the thought of him playing for them next season.

After a relatively quiet first half, Frank Jackson got hot from deep and helped to extend things. He finished making five of his seven three-point attempts and helped to stretch things out. His 19-point performance helped finish up a very strong week in Chicago and he certainly backed up his lofty No. 10 overall ranking.

BALL DOESN'T NEED TO SCORE TO IMPRESS

For the better part of the past few years, we've been writing how UCLA-bound five-star point guard Lonzo Ball is perhaps the best passer we have ever scouted. If people hadn't seen it for themselves, they got to see it on Wednesday night as Ball dished out 13 assists -- nine of them in the second half -- while only turning the ball over one time.

His passing allowed high flyers like Kentucky-bound five-star shooting guard Malik Monk (11 points, four assists) to show off their above-the-rim ability and he added in four rebounds, two blocks and a steal. Ball missed his only three shot attempts, but his passing allowed him to have a big time performance.

FULTZ AND OTHERS IMPRESS

He didn't have his best shooting night, but Washington-bound guard Markelle Fultz was a standout for the East. He got into the lane at will, banged a pair of back-to-back threes and looked like an immediate impact player for the Huskies while scoring 12 points and dishing out six assists.

Dominant on the glass, Kentucky-bound five-star big man Bam Adebayo put together the game's only double-double by scoring 16 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. He played aggressively on the glass, ran the floor and even when he wasn't getting post touches, his eight offensive rebounds afforded him scoring opportunities.

The West team's two undecided five-star Texan big men Marques Bolden and Jarrett Allen both showed well. Allen -- who is considering Texas, Houston, Kansas, Notre Dame and Kentucky -- got the game started off quickly with his activity around the rim and he protected things defensively with five blocked shots. Essentially down to Duke and Kentucky, Bolden took over in the second half. What was most impressive was how he used his off (left) hand to score and the big man ran the floor well while scoring 13 points and grabbing seven rebounds.
