McCroskey -- Mature, Smart Player

He doesn't wow you with his explosiveness or awe you with his athleticism, but St. Raymond's 6'5'' 185 pound swingman Louie McCroskey sports a mature game and high basketball IQ that make him a winner.

The Syracuse commit McCroskey isn't overly explosive off the dribble, but he is crafty, and doesn't hesitate to find the open man on forays to the rim. Louie blends in well and plays within the flow of the game. He generally takes high-percentage shots and can attack the glass from the wing. The one thing that might need considerable work for Big East play is his strength. The other aspects of his game seem to be falling into place.

McCroskey is a gamer who has shown that he can hit the big shot in late game situations. This is looking like a better and better pick-up for Syracuse as the season progresses. Louie is looking closer to 6'6'' at this point, as well. He seems to have added an inch or two to his frame since the summer.
