McClure Sidelined For Six Weeks

David McClure, a 6-6, 200 pound small forward from Trinity Catholic H.S. in Stamford, Connecticut, will spend the next six weeks recovering from Mono. "I can't play any serious basketball," McClure said. "I feel real tired."
McClure has been one of the better players RivalsHoops.com has seen this spring. So it's likely most won't get their next chance of watching his skills until June or July.

Right now, McClure has a very short list. Duke, Notre Dame, Villanova, NC State, Florida State, and Indiana are among the schools that McClure likes the most. "I haven't made a decision," McClure said. "I don't plan on making one this week or next."
McClure has already taken official visits to Duke and Notre Dame. They are among his top schools right now. McClure has also indicated some interest in possibly visiting Florida State, NC State, and Indiana.
McClure wants to make a decision by July.
McClure, who hails from Ridgefield, Connecticut, is a very well rounded basketball player who has great natural instincts for rebounding the ball. He is an alert passer and boasts a solid midrange shooting stroke.
