Mayben Leaves The Winchendon School
Tiki Mayben, a 6-foot-1 point guard from Troy High School in upstate New York, has left The Winchendon School in Massachusetts, according to head coach Mike Byrnes. "Tiki got homesick," Byrnes said. "I am not sure where he will be going now. But he left yesterday."
Sources close to Mayben indicate Tiki may enroll at Redemption Christian Academy, a school close to his hometown.
Mayben, who has already given a verbal commitment to Syracuse University, possesses a national reputation due to his dynamic point guard skills. Mayben, who plays for Albany City Rocks head coach Jim Hart during the summer AAU play, is a quick guard who can cut up a defense down with his dribble. It's likely that Mayben will play for Hart again this spring and summer.
Mayben is rated the 51st best player in the 2005 class by RivalsHoops.com.
