Maxwells List Now At Three
Maurice Maxwell, a 6-foot-5, 180-pound shooting guard from Lutheran Christian Academy in Philadelphia, PA is looking at three schools, including UMass, the program he had given a verbal commitment last month.
"UMass is still very much in the picture," head coach Darryl Schofield said. The other two schools in the mix are Miami (FL) and Nebraska. Indiana had shown some interest recently but they're not being considered now, according to the coach.

Schofield said that Maxwell averaged about 27 points, seven rebounds, 10 assists and seven steals this past season.
There is also a possibility that if some Big East schools leave for the ACC, Massachusetts might be asked to join. So this would be a big move for the Massachusetts program.
