Maurice Petty Has Short List
Maurice Petty, a 6-6, 205-pound forward from Crest High School in Colonial Beach, Virginia, had a solid AAU Showcase at Disney's Wide World of Sports last week. Petty played well in the three games we watched. He is very active inside and does a good job of rebounding.
"I have been working on my ballhandling skills this summer," Petty said. "I think I made some improvement in that area."

Petty said he likes the West Coast schools in his recruitment. "I am interested in UCLA, Stanford, UNLV, Clemson, and North Carolina State," Petty said. "But I have to see who will offer and when I make my decision. I am still open as far as schools."
Petty averaged 17 points and seven rebounds per game last year.
