Matt Cenatus Starting To Receive Interest
St. Thomas Aquinas High School head basketball coach Steve Strand is recognized as one of the best teachers in the world of hoops. Strand has developed a fine team heading into this winter's schedule.
One of the key players on the Fort Lauderdale, Fla. team is 6-4, 210-pound shooting guard Matt Cenatus. "Matt is extremely explosive," Strand said. "He gets to the hole real good and finishes."

Cenatus averaged 15 points and five assists last season. he was the second leading scorer on last year's state championship team. "He is going to be playing with the NIKE coast to coast team and will attend the NIKE All American camp," Strand said.
Cenatus has already unofficially visited Miami of Florida. "He can knock down the outside shot too," Strand said.
Strand said Matt will visit South Florida next week. He is also interested in Florida International, Furman, and Jacksonville. "He is wide open," Strand said.
