California is now on a roll as the Golden Bears picked up their second commitment within 24 hours, this time coming in the form of Matt Bradley. A 6-foot-4, do-it-all type of wing, Bradley may first look like a high end football prospect, yet the top-100 rising senior is another quality addition for the program in Berkeley.
Upon being offered by California on Tuesday, the Golden Bears made quick work of the recruitment of Bradley as he committed to the Pac 12 program less than 48 hours later. Prior to this past weekend, Bradley had not received a high-major scholarship offer. California became the first and the last to offer as Jones and his staff did a commendable job of ending the recruitment of Bradley.
Strong, tough and wired to compete, Bradley should have the chance to step in and immediately leave his mark on the program. The need for tough, versatile perimeter options that can really defend is always at hand, something that makes Bradley such a quality pick-up heading into the summer months.
The second commitment in the 2018 class for California, first year head coach Wyking Jones now has two top-100 prospects in tow, the first being Jacobi Gordon, a 6-foot-6 small forward. The Pac 12 program will remain in pursuit for big man options in the months ahead as they continue to track and prioritize five-star center Jordan Brown.
