Mason Has Interest Offer

Bashir Mason, a 6-0, 172-pound point guard out of the class of 2003 from St. Benedict's in Newark, New Jersey, is a crafty lead guard who plays with the Tim Thomas Playaz Black team.
Mason is a lefty with a long reach who is fast in the open floor. He is elusive with the ball, as well.

Mason, who averaged 12 points and eight assists for coach Danny Hurley this past season at St. Benedict's, has heard from Rutgers, Marquette, LaSalle, and Stony Brook. Stony Brook has offered.
Mason will participate in the Adidas ABCD camp and the Las Vegas Big Time Tournament this summer. He was a member of the Tim Thomas team that captured the Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions recently.
Bashir has a 2.7 scholastic GPA. He has not yet achieved a qualifying SAT score.
