Marvin Williams a 6-foot-8, 220-pound forward from Bremerton, Washington has ended his recruitment. After several days of speculation, a decision has finally been made. Arizona, North Carolina and Washington were the final three schools being considered.

At a press conference earlier today, Williams announced that he would be playing for Coach Roy Williams and the North Carolina Tarheels.
Williams Jr. and Coach Williams built a strong relationship while he was at Kansas, so this comes as no surprise.
It looked like Arizona had made a late run, especially after Ndudi Ebi decided to leave for the NBA, but UNC eventually won out.
Rivals.com ranks Williams No. 10 on the Rivals150 list and the fifth best player at his position.
There is no doubt that Williams is the exact player that UNC needed. He will fit their style perfectly and is the kind of player that will flourish under Coach Williams and his system.
