Martin a hot commodity

Scott Martin, the 6-foot-8, 200-pound small forward from Valparaiso (IN) High School is eventually going to have a difficult decision to make. The No. 91 ranked player in the class of 2007 has double-digit scholarship offers, which has made the decision making process that much more grueling.
"Valparaiso, Bowling Green, Ball State, Indiana, Purdue, USC, Arizona State, Northwestern, Bradley, Michigan, and Xavier are the schools that have offered," said Martin. "I have been talking to Oklahoma State, but I am not totally sure where they stand right now.

"I am still considering everybody on my list," he added. "All of the schools are even and I don't have any favorites. I am going to start scheduling some visits once the summer is over."
Martin, a four-star prospect, is looking forward to getting back out on the road for the July evaluation period. He loves traveling to different locations in order to hoop it up with other friends.
However, this year he is looking forward to one event in particular.
"I am going to Nike Camp, Peach Jam, Super Showcase, and AAU Nationals," said Martin. "I am really looking forward to the Peach Jam. We lost in the finals last year, so I hope that we can turn things around and win the event this year. After I am done with traveling, I am going to sit-down and think about what schools to visit.
"I will probably just use two or three official visits," he added. "I will officially visit the schools that are far away and unofficially visit the ones that are close to home. That is my plan right now."
