Marshall May Need Another Year

Daniel Marshall, a 6-0, 160 pound senior point guard from Spingarn H.S. in Washington D.C., will probably need to detour to prep school or junior college next year.
Spingarn Head Coach Keith Jackson told Rivalshoops.com that Marshall is a senior athletically but only a junior academically. That means if he returns to Spingarn next year, Marshall will have no athletic eligibility.

A shifty floor general with quick hands on defense, Marshall is effective at finding holes in the defense and using the bounce pass to find open teammates. He does not really look to score and is a very solid pure point guard prospect.
At the Charlie Weber Tournament in October, Coach Jackson told Rivalshoops.com that South Carolina State, Duquesne, Coastal Carolina and James Madison had expressed interest in Marshall.
Right now, his recruiting appears to be on hold until he figures out his future plans.
