Marshall Looks at Iona

Justin Marshall had a busy week, but it didn't stop after the end of the second session of the Five-Star Basketball Camp in Honesdale, Penn.
After the camp ended on Wednesday with the NBA Division all-star game, Marshall said he planned to take an unofficial visit to Iona on Friday, Aug. 30.

Marshall, a 6-6, 205 pound rising senior combo/power forward from Christ the King H.S. in Middle Village, N.Y., told Rivalshoops that the Gaels, Hofstra, Manhattan, Quinnipiac, UNC-Greensboro, St. Peter's and Boston University are among the top schools he is considering this fall.
All of those have offered, with the exception of UNC-G. Other schools on his list include Drexel, Binghamton, Long Island University, Wagner, Marist and Rider.
Marshall has already unofficially visited St. Peter's and Hofstra. He has yet to set up any visits this fall, and admitted he's not sure if he will sign early or late.
Rivalshoops liked Marshall's potential this past summer at the adidas Big Time Tournament, where he suited up with Artie Green's New York Ravens program. A very mobile and bouncy big man, Marshall had a penchant for finishing in transition.
On top of that, his mobility allows him to fan out and defend on the perimeter, suggesting that he might eventually be able to play the three slot on the college level.
Marshall said he has an 83 average in the classroom and has surpassed the 820 barrier on the SAT.
During the July evaluation period, he attended the Five-Star/Hoop Zone camp in New Jersey, prior to attending the Big Time in Las Vegas. He capped the month by attending the Real Scout All-Star Basketball game on July 31.
We will keep you posted on Marshall's recruitment in the weeks to come, so stay tuned.
