Marshall Has A Favorite

Sean Marshall, a productive 6-5, 205 pound swingman from Eisenhower H.S. in Rialto, Calif., has shuffled his list quite a bit in the past two weeks.
Marshall told Rivalshoops that he is considering 11 schools, but seven of those schools are strong in the recruiting process with a clear leader at the top of the heap.

"I think that Boston College is my favorite right now," Marshall said on Friday night. "I just feel more comfortable with them, especially with their coaching staff.
With B.C. clearly on top, Marshall said that DePaul, Oregon State, Washington, Pepperdine, Virginia and Florida State round out his top seven. Also under consideration (but needing to make up some ground at this juncture) are Texas Tech, New Mexico, Utah and Colorado.
Marshall has set up his first official visit to Boston College for Sept. 6-8, where he will catch the Eagle gridders against Stanford in an early season pigskin battle.
He has yet to set up the in-home visits, nor has Marshall set up any other trips for the fall.
What makes Marshall such an effective player is his ability to do several things well. He's a fine athlete with legit three point range who rebounds and passes the ball well. On top of that, he plays with a bit of a chip on his shoulder, as if he has something to prove each time he laces them up.
Marshall, whom Rivalshoops watched quite a bit this summer at various pit stops on the adidas circuit, boosted his stock quite a bit with his play. In that regard, his play this summer has made him a legitimate top 100 prospect in the country.
This past season at Rialto Eisenhower, Marshall averaged 20 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block per game. He said he has a 3.4 GPA and scored an 880 on the SAT.
We will keep you posted on Marshall's recruitment as the fall looms, so keep it here for the best recruiting coverage on the net.
