Marquettes class at five

Marquette has expanded its 2010 recruiting class to five with the commitment of Big Springs (Texas) Howard Junior College combo forward Jae Crowder.
Crowder, 6-foot-6, 230 pounds, chose Marquette over offers from Texas Tech and UNLV and interest from Georgia and Illinois State.

"I chose Marquette because I fit in well there, and I love the coaches," Crowder told Rivals.com.
Averaging 18 points and 10 rebounds per game, Crowder brings a physical style of play to the court.
"I usually get matched up on a small player, so I'll isolate them in the mid-post," he said. "I use my body well and get to the line a lot. I'll also shoot the three and crash the boards hard."
Crowder joins signees Vander Blue, Jamail Jones and Reggie Smith and signee D.J. Newbill.
