Marques Bennett Has Three Offers

Marques Bennett, a solid and well rounded 6-4, 190 pound combination/off guard from Brebeuf Prep in Indianapolis, Ind., turned in a solid week of play for the Indy Warriors at last week's adidas Big Time Tournament.

Bennett is a bit of a jack of all trades; he does not do any one thing outstanding, but rather does a little bit of everything well. An adequate ball handler, Bennett moves very well without the basketball, and is more of a midrange shooter than a three point bomber.
Bennett told the Insiders Report that he has been offered scholarships by Lehigh, Miami of Ohio and Southern Illinois. In addition to those schools, Bennett has seen interest from Ball State (his older brother attends there), Kent State, Dayton, Iowa, Michigan State, Northwestern, Purdue, Iowa State and Air Force.
Bennett averaged 23 points, six rebounds, six assists and five steals per game as a junior at Brebeuf. He said he has a 2.9 GPA and has scored an 1150 on the SAT.
Prior to attending the Big Time Tournament, Bennett attended the Hoosier Shootout in Bloomington, Ind., and the Kentucky Hoop Fest in Louisville, Ky.
IR will keep you posted on Bennett's recruitment in the coming weeks.
