Mark Davis Reaches A Decision
Mark Davis, a 6-4, 190 pound shooting guard from Palm Beach C.C. in Palm Beach, Fla., committed to George Mason. This is no surprise. He had a very good visit to the George Mason campus.
Davis had visited Winthrop (Oct. 4-6) and George Mason (Oct. 11-13). He has some feelers from both Florida State and Miami, but those schools may have pursued him more if he decided to sign late.

Davis was one of the better freshmen that JUCO Junction/Rivalshoops.com caught in action last season. While his ball handling is just OK, Davis is a very good athlete who can finish around the basket and a streaky three point shooter who can carry a team when he heats up from the perimeter.

** George Mason also landed 6-8 forward Trent Wertz from Sheboygan HS in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Wertz played for the Friends of Hoop AAU program this summer.
