TRENTON, N.J. -- Oak Hill Academy used a game ending 11-2 run to put away St. John Neumann H.S. of Philadelphia, 69-57, on Friday night at the Prime Time Shootout.

In a game punctuated by extreme runs, Oak Hill appeared it would take Neumann to the wood shed at one point. Trailing 25-20 in the second quarter, the Warriors used a 27-5 run that bridged the first and second half to open up a 47-30 lead with 5:15 remaining in the third quarter.
To its credit, Neumann fought back behind the exceptional play of 5-9 junior point guard Richie Cunningham. Cunningham, who led Neumann with 15 points, helped his team slice the deficit to 58-55 with just over five minutes to go in the fourth quarter.
Isaiah Swann's three pointer with 3:11 left stretched the lead to 63-56, and down the stretch, Oak Hill hit its free throws while Neumann did not. In fact, Neumann missed five of six free throws in the final two minutes that would have allowed it to stay in the game.
Dion Dacons, an unsigned 6-6 forward, led Oak Hill with 17 points and 14 rebounds. UConn bound point guard Marcus Williams (above) earned game MVP honors with 16 points, while Swann and Virginia bound J.R. Reynolds added 12 points apiece.
