Marcus Arnold, a skilled 6-8, 225 pound power/combination forward from Morgan Park H.S. in Chicago, Ill., said he recently obtained a qualifying ACT score.
Arnold impressed the Insiders Report/Rivalshoops.com last June at the BET/D.C. Pro Am at George Washington University, where he showed an ability to score both inside and out for Mac Irvin's Illinois Fire program.
Arnold took an official visit to Illinois State in March, and also plans to visit Southern Illinois from Apr. 19-21. Illinois-Chicago, New Mexico, James Madison, Miami, Bowling Green and Ball State are also inquiring, but Arnold said that Illinois State is the current leader in his process.
