Majors Will Watch Daniels This Month

Chris Daniels, a 6-10, 250 pound center from Sam Houston H.S. in San Antonio, Tex., has attracted quite a bit of early recruiting interest.
While he's not a household name on the national scene, Daniels is known quite well in the Southwest, as his early list attests.

Daniels told the Insiders Report/Rivalshoops.com that he has had contact with programs such as Illinois, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, TCU, Colorado State, Wyoming, Tulsa, Richmond, Old Dominion and Drake.
Daniels averaged 14 points, 12 rebounds and five blocks per game as a junior at Sam Houston High. This past spring, he played on the Texas Platinum traveling squad, and many college coaches had a chance to evaluate him at the talent packed Kingwood Classic in late April.
Daniels said he has a 77 average in the classroom, but did not achieve a qualifying SAT score the first time he took the test this spring.
Daniels will play in three major events this month with Texas Platinum -- the BCI Nationals in Grapevine, Tex., the Great American Shootout in Denton, Tex., and the adidas Big Time Tournament in Las Vegas, Nev.
Rivalshoops.com plans on being at some of these events, and we will keep you posted Daniels' development and recruitment, so stay tuned.
