Majors Like TN PG

Lee Humphrey, a 6-1, 175 pound point guard from Maryville H.S. in Maryville, Tenn., looked sharp this past weekend playing for Charlie Benson's Tennessee Travelers program at the Kingwood Classic in Texas.
Humphrey told the Insiders Report/Rivalshoops.com that he is looking at Purdue, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Auburn, Florida, South Carolina, Tennessee, UNC-Wilmington and Appalachian State.

Of the schools on his list, Humphrey has taken unofficial visits thus far to Louisville and Tennessee.
The previous staff at Wilmington was the only school to offer Humphrey a scholarship as of this past weekend, so expect Richmond (which just hired UNC-Wilmington's Jerry Wainwright) to now be a factor in this recruiting process as well.
Humphrey impressed us with his lateral quickness, poise and shooting ability this past weekend with the Travelers.
This past season at Maryville, he averaged 22 points, five rebounds, five assists and four steals per contest. He said he carries a 4.1 GPA and has scored a 27 on the ACT, marks which easily make him a qualifier under current NCAA guidelines.
Humphrey will kick off a busy summer in June at the NBA Players Association Camp in Richmond, and he has also been invited to attend the Nike All-American Camp in July.
He will also tour the Nike and AAU circuits with the Travelers this summer. The Travelers are hoping to get invited to Peach Jam and will most likely attend the AAU Super Showcase in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.
