Major Programs Checking Junior Guard

Eric Price, the jet-quick 6-1, 180 pound point/combo guard from Blair Academy in Blairstown, N.J., has several big time programs coming in to check him out in the coming weeks.
Blair Head Coach Joe Mantegna told us that Notre Dame, Illinois, Boston College and UConn are among the schools who have scheduled September trips to Blair.

Back in the spring, it was reported that Price had committed to Memphis. However, the scoring lead guard later reneged and decided to reopen his recruitment.
Price looked solid in July at the Nike Peach Jam Tournament in South Carolina, where he teamed with Isaiah Swann to form a dynamic backcourt for the D.C. Blue Devils.
Blessed with excellent end to end speed, Price is a guard who excels in fast paced situations. He likes to push tempo and he can penetrate and get to the basket quite regularly.
A native of Washington, D.C., Price has bounced around several high schools over the past few years. However, it appears that he has found a home at Blair for the next two years. He is a junior academically at Blair, which places Price in the Class of 2005.
