It took a little longer than it initially looked like it would, but Gonzaga has gotten their man in European sensation Domantas Sabonis.

Thursday afternoon, sources confirmed to Rivals.com that 6-foot-10 the 6-foot-10 power forward who has been playing with the Spanish club team Unicaja Malaga has signed with Mark Few and the Bulldogs.
The son of legendary big man Arvydas Sabonis, Domantas is a heck of a prospect in his own right.
A skilled lefty who can face up and shoot with range to the three point line, the younger Sabonis is a fluid offensive player and athlete. He can play with his back to the basket, has soft touch and like his father is a superior passer out of the post.
Because he has not played any high school ball or events in the United States, it is tough to get a true evaluation on Sabonis. However, he is considered by many European scouts to be the stop Euro prospect in his age group and he is at the very least a high end four-star prospect and somebody that will need to get serious consideration for five-star status.
Whether he remains a high four-star or ends up a five-star prospect, Sabonis is a major boost to Gonzaga's recruiting efforts. He joins a class that already includes four-star point guard Josh Perkins, Rivals150 combo guard Silas Melson and two-star shooting guard Bryan Alberts.
