Madden Has Good Summer
Maurice Madden, a 6-1, 175 point guard from Upper Dublin High School in Fort Washington, PA, is seeing recruited interest from seven programs.
According to his mother, Shirley, he is getting serious interest from Towson, Drexel, Rider, Rice, Canisius and has an offer from Division II Philadelphia University and a tentative offer from UMBC. Madden will take an unofficial visit to Towson in mid-August.

Madden has a 2.4 GPA and will re-take the SAT in October hoping to gain more than the 40 points needed to qualify.
Madden performed well with the Sam Rines All Stars at the recent adidas Big Time Tournament where he averaged 15 points per game. In a matchup against Sebastian Telfair's Juice All Stars, Madden had seven points, five rebounds, four assists and four steals.
He will compete in the Sonny Hill Future Stars tournament in Philladelphia in mid-August and in the Charlie Weber Invitational in College Park, MD in September, playing with either Championship Sports or Sam Rines All Stars.
Madden averaged 20 points, six rebounds, five assists and two steals as a junior.
