Macon opens it up

One of the top 2012 prospects in the country has decided to re-open his recruitment. Elijah Macon made an early commitment to the West Virginia Mountaineers early on in the process, but since then things have changed.
At 6-foot-8 and 200 pounds, Macon is one of the best power forwards in the 2012 class. The Marion-Franklin (Ohio) star just completed a very successful season. However he decided on Tuesday evening to open things back up.

"Yes I opened it up," said Macon of his recruitment.
According to Macon he spoke with the West Virginia coaches and told them that he simply wanted to explore his options.
"I just told them I want to keep an open mind," said Macon. "I am still considering West Virginia, but I just want to be open with my recruiting."
While Macon isn't yet sure who he will consider, he did list off Ohio State, Kentucky, Purdue, and Syracuse as schools of interest. Also he noted he will consider the entire Big East and the Big Ten.
Macon plans on playing the summer circuit for the All-Ohio Red 17-and under squad.
