Mack staying in Big East territory

Rivals150 prospect Myles Mack is the latest prospect to commit to the new coaching staff at Rutgers.
After landing four-star post prospect Kadeem Jack earlier this week, Mack, a 5-foot-10 guard who is now at Paterson (N.J.) St. Anthony High School, is now the fourth 2011 Rutgers commitment.

The combination of proximity to home and Mack's relationship with the coaching staff sealed the deal for Rutgers.
"I like that Rutgers is close to home," said Mack. "My family and friends can watch me play when we play at home. And Coach Rice and Coach Cox built a bond with me that is crazy. No one could imagine.
"Coach Cox began recruiting me at Georgetown when I was a freshman, and he brought it over to Rutgers."
Mack also considered St. John's, Penn State, Western Kentucky, DePaul, Marquette, Virginia, Providence and Connecticut.
Know for his shooting ability, Mack plans to play the role of floor general for the Scarlet Knights.
Along with Jack and Myles, Rutgers also has 2011 commitments from three-star prospects Derrick Randall and Malick Kone.
