Lyle deciding on visits

Now that he has settled in as a member of the class of 2015, five-star combo guard JaQuan Lyle needs to make some more decisions.

Originally signed to play at Oregon coming out of high school, the 6-foot-5 guard from Indiana is now at Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy sorting things out during a year of prep school.
For a while, it looked like he may choose to enroll somewhere for the spring semester but that's out the wind.
"I'm going to finish the entire year at IMG," Lyle told Rivals.com. "I think it will be good to finish out the entire year."
Now that he's sure he will spend an entire year in prep school, Lyle has to go about making a college decision for the second time. Dana Altman and the Ducks are still in the mix and Lyle recently took an official visit to LSU.
Next, he wants to decide on a few more places to visit officially.
"Ohio State, Xavier, Indiana and Missouri, I'm going to decide out of those who I"m going to take my last officials to," said Lyle. "I'm going to go to Ohio State and I'm going to go to Oregon. I don't really know dates as of now but I know those two are going to be for sure."
Of the remaining schools on the list, Lyle has ties to both Indiana and Missouri. Missouri assistant Rob Fulford was Lyle's coach during his senior season at Huntington (W.V.) Prep while Tom Crean was the first coach to offer Lyle a scholarship and Indiana is his home state school.
"Me and coach Fulford still have a great relationship," said Lyle of Missouri. "He recruited me once but that was to high school and now it is to college so he is doing the same thing again. He is a great guy and I even lived with him when I went to Huntington. So that's a great relationship that we've kept going and now he's recruiting me at Mizzou and we talk almost every day."
Indiana hasn't let up either.
"They are working me hard," said Lyle. "Coach Crean was the first coach to offer me September of my freshman year. So They've been on me ever since and that was my first offer so it's a nice option."
For now, schools recruiting Lyle are operating on the assumption that they have to beat Oregon since he has already picked them once. Lyle likes the staff, campus and the facilities in Eugene but is being as open as possible. So, the question is, how could somebody beat Oregon this time around?
"When I go on a visit show me that it's a family environment and that they care for their players more as a person than basketball players," said Lyle. "That's the main thing I really need right there coming in as a freshman, those two things stand out to me."
