Lusk Opens Eyes With Performance

Mario Lusk, a quick and athletic 5-9, 169 pound point/combo guard from Manassas H.S. in Memphis, Tenn., enjoyed a terrific spring so far for the Memphis YOMCA program.
Lusk was one of Memphis' top scorers throughout the weekend of the Kingwood, although he told the Insiders Report/Rivalshoops.com that he has seen very little interest from Division I schools thus far this spring.

Perhaps the thing that impressed us the most about Lusk was his consistent ability to penetrate and finish for a small guard.
"I need to work on my outside shot, especially my midrange game," Lusk said. "I also need to see the floor better."
As a junior this past season at Manassas, Lusk averaged 23.9 points, four rebounds, 6.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game.
In the classroom, Lusk said he has a 2.1 GPA and has yet to take the SAT or ACT exam.
Lusk plans on playing with YOMCA/Team Memphis this spring and summer, so we will keep you posted on his exploits.
