Lukosius To Take Trip
Emigijus Lukosius, a 6-6, 220 pound sophomore combination forward from Weatherford J.C. in Weatherford, Tex., will take an official visit to Hawaii this spring.
JUCO Junction/Rivalshoops.com had a chance to speak with Weatherford Head Coach Mark Osina last week at the NJCAA Tournament, and he said that the Figthing Rainbow program would get Lukosius' first official trip.

In addition to Hawaii, Dayton and SW Missouri State have also expressed an interest in Lukosius, a native of Kretinga, Lithuania.
Hawaii has landed a pair of former Weatherford players in recent recruiting classes. In 1999, the Rainbows signed swingman Nerijus Puida. Two years ago, they inked forward Mindaugas Burneika.
Lukosius is a solid all-around prospect who makes contributions at both ends of the floor. Perhaps the best thing about him is his hard-nosed approach to the game of basketball.
