LSU Lands Another Recruit

Neltner, a skilled 6-8, 225 pound power forward from Highlands H.S. in Ft. Thomas, Ky., had previous recruiting interest during the summer from Stanford, Virginia, Utah, Michigan, LSU, West Virginia, Tulane, Princeton, and Davidson.

At the ABCD Camp, we liked the way that Neltner played within himself, proving himself to be a capable rebounder and outlet passer. He is a pretty nifty passer for a big man, and we are certain that we will see some more aspects of his game out in Las Vegas with the Derek Smith All-Stars.
This past season at Highlands, Neltner averaged 18 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, two steals and four blocks per game. He said he has a 3.9 GPA and scored an 1160 on the SAT and a 27 on the ACT.
