Lowry Will Visit Four Schools

One of the summer's more outstanding players, Kyle Lowry of Cardinal Dougherty High School in Philadelphia, Penn., has set up two official visits.

"I am going to visit Syracuse on September 19th," Lowry said. "And the following week (September 26th) I will visit Xavier."

Lowry, a energetic 5-foot-11 point guard with the ability to finish among the big bodies inside the paint, also places Connecticut and Pittsburgh very high on his list. "I hope to set up visits with Connecticut and Pittsburgh," he said. "I am not sure of the visits yet. I don't have the dates but I would like to take all four visits before I decide."

Missing from his list regarding visits is Kansas. "They are not out," Lowry said. "But I haven't heard from them in a while. So right now the plan is to visit four schools before I decide."

When asked could he make a decision after his first visit if he liked the trip a lot, Lowry stated: "Yes, it's possible. But it's likely I would take all four visits before I make a decision."
