Lowry Praises Villanova Visit

Kyle Lowry, an outstanding 5-11 lead guard from Cardinal Dougherty in Philadelphia, Penn., praised his official visit to Villanova taken this past weekend. "I liked the campus," Lowry said. "I also liked the coaches. I also had a chance to play some pickup ball too. The guards Villanova has are very good."
Lowry, a guard who is likely to receive high consideration for the 2004 McDonald's All American game, didn't make a verbal commitment to Villanova despite his terrific visit. "I liked everything I saw there this weekend," Lowry said. "But I want to take more visits."

Kyle stated he is likely to take at least one, possibly more visits. "I am going to visit Arkansas for Midnight Madness," he said. "I want to see the campus there. I haven't made up my mind on a school yet so I wanted to take another visit."
Lowry also claimed he is still wide open. "I haven't ruled out any school," he said. "If another school gets involved I will talk to them. I am open right now."
Lowry is rated the 20th best player in the 2004 class in the Rivals150. He can rip up a defense with drives to the basket. Lowry has the skills and the strength to finish well in transition and in traffic.
