Lowry Impressed with Visit

Now that Kyle Lowry, the No. 4 point guard and No. 20 player in the Rivals150, has visited Arkansas, he has some thinking to do in comparing the Razorbacks program to nearby Villanova. The Cardinal Dougherty playmaker from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania had been leaning towards Villanova, but Arkansas made a positive impression on him.
“It was a nice visit,” said the 5-foot-11, 170-pound Lowry. “I liked the surroundings, the coaches, and the players. It was better than I expected. I thought it would just be a school out in the country with nothing around it, but it wasn’t like that. And they have great fan support with no pro teams there.”

So will Lowry rush to make a decision by the early signing date or will he take is time and wait to sign in the spring?
“It is down to just Villanova and Arkansas, but I will commit in January or maybe a little before,” he said. “Just whenever I get that gut feeling. But there is no rush for the early signing period.”
