Lowry Has Leader But Too Close To Call

It may take a while but talented point guard Kyle Lowry of Cardinal Dougherty High School in Philadelphia, Penn., believes he will eventually have a decision between two schools. However, the timeframe on when Lowry makes his college choice could take some time.
"I am not going to sign in the Fall," Lowry said. "I need to see how the teams play this winter. I want to watch their games and then when I am comfortable I can make a decision."

Lowry, 5-foot-11, has already taken an official visit to Villanova. "I am going to visit Arkansas this weekend," he said. "Then I am going to take my time in making up my mind."
Kyle stated he does have a leader but for some important reasons. "I am leaning to Villanova," Lowry said. "But that's because it's close to home and I haven't seen my other school (Arkansas) yet."
When asked if he could make a decision before his visit to Villanova, Lowry stated: "No chance."
Lowry, a guard that likes to rip up a defense by going north to south with the ball, is highly regarded by many college services. He is currently listed as the 20th best player in the country in the Rivals150 for the class of 2004. "My list is closed," Lowry said. "I like the two schools on my list. There's no reason to add any more."
Today, Lowry led the Playaz basketball program to a tournament win at IS8 in Queens, New York. This league is considered one of the best in the country.
